It is our suffering that brings us together.
It is not love. Love does not obey the mind, and (it may) turn to hate when forced.
The bond that binds us is beyond choice.
We are brothers. We are brothers. In what we share.
In pain, which each of us must suffer alone, in hunger, in poverty, in hope, we know our brotherhood.
We know it, because we have had to learn it.
We know that there is no help for us but from one another, (that) no hand will save us, if we do not reach out our hand.
(And) the hand you reach is empty as mine is.
You have nothing.
You possess nothing.
You own nothing.
You are free.
All that you have is what you are and give.
-Ursula K. Le Guin

Walls of Emptiness

Our scars have the power to remind us that the past was real,
And all of us have for sure a vast collection of scars!
And we never forget who gave us the best of them!
Sometimes we wish to forget, we think how would it be if we just forget!
The pain inside is the only thing left and it is a scar that we cherish to keep!
Echoes through the walls of our own emptiness!
And something so cruel as memory,
The pointy, bitey little thunderbolts,
Unwanted screamers through your mind.
Inescapable, unrelenting...
You can't even escape into madness!
Who are You?
Screamers through your mind!
These are the walls of emptiness!
